Welcome to Glenara

Glenara is a traditional stone Edwardian House located in one of Scotland's most beautiful and scenic areas with views out over Oban Bay towards the islands of Kerrera and Mull. The house is owned and operated by Jenny and Bernard Childs with emphasis on a peaceful, warm and friendly atmosphere and personal service so that you can relax and enjoy your holiday.

The house is situated above the town centre, but only 5 minutes or so walking distance to all local amenities including shops, restaurants, trains and ferries. Indeed, it the perfect base for visiting the islands.

Breakfasts

Generous breakfasts are served between 8.00 and 9.00am, are cooked to order and served in the dining room. We take great pride in our breakfasts and offer you a choice from a variety of cereals, fresh fruit salad and yogurt, full traditional grilled breakfast, toast, tea or coffee.

Wherever possible we serve organic and/or fair trade food.

Special diets (vegetarian, gluten free etc) are also catered for. Please mention when booking.

Bedrooms

Our accommodation comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms:

• 1 double with king size bed - 1st floor
• 1 double with super-king size bed, seating area and sea view - 2nd floor
• 1 triple with 3 full size single beds and sofa - 1st floor

Each room has TV, tea/coffee hospitality tray, radio alarm, hairdrier and shaving point.
